Mr. Waughtal was retained as COO of Emerge in December 2019 and became CEO in July 2021.  Mr. Waughtal holds a bachelor’s degree and masters’ degrees in engineering as well as a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in engineering management.  Mr. Waughtal has over 28 years of experience as a senior operations manager, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Hoerbiger Corporation America, Inc., a global oil & gas service and manufacturing company.

Mr. Smith serves as the Chief Commercial Officer, prior to that, he served as our Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University, Mr. Smith has worked in the industrial mining and oil & gas service industries for over 29 years. Mr. Smith spent the first 22 years of his career at Halliburton where he held senior leadership roles in Business Development, Supply Chain, and Technology both domestically and internationally.  Most recently, Mr. Smith served as the Senior Vice President & President of the Oil & Gas Business Unit for US Silica.

Mr. Hochegger serves as the Chief Financial Officer, leveraging extensive global experience in finance and operations across three continents to drive the company's financial strategy and growth. Since joining in March 2021, Stefan has been instrumental in improving operational excellence, underscoring his commitment to maximizing shareholder value.  With a master's in business administration in finance and certification in Operations Management by Caltech, he excels in guiding financial planning, risk management, and streamlining end-to-end processes & systems, positioning the company for sustained success.
