Superior Silica Sands Continues Support of Local Communities
Superior Silica Sands recently made contributions to a variety of worthy organizations in our hometown of Clayton, Wisconsin.
- Our donation to the Cumberland Baseball Association, which is recognized as one of the finest baseball programs in Wisconsin, will help to fund their continued support of day leagues and traveling teams from third grade through the American Legion level.
- The Clayton School District athletic program is using our contribution to improve fitness equipment used by the district’s student-athletes.
- Our donation to the Village of Clayton Fire Department enabled the department to enhance its lifesaving capabilities through the purchase of a Jaws of Life rescue tool, which can be seen in operation in the training exercise pictured below.
Wisconsin State Senator Janey Bewley even took the time to acknowledge these contributions and generously thank SSS for helping the community to thrive.
Contributions like these are part of our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life in the communities where we live and work – through both financial support and active involvement in organizations that reflect our motto of People, Planet, Prosperity.
